Janae's New Camera Phone

Janae's old phone was on its last leg so we decided to get her a replacement a couple of weeks ago. The only thing that Janae cared about was that the new phone have a good camera. Needless to say, she has been very busy testing it out. Here is a smattering of photos that she has taken of our recent activities.

Avery helped mom plant some new flowers in her flower pots.

Janae took the kids to a local interactive children's museum. Here is Mason (soaking wet) playing with one of the water exhibits. He also managed to come home with a black eye from the only 'padded' bench in the museum.

This one was taken on our camping trip during Easter weekend. Unfortunately, we didn't pull out the camera until after we had packed everything up in the car (kids included) and were ready to leave.

Our mostly cleaned up camp-site.

Avery is once again taking a dance class. I think that her favorite part is dressing up in her dance wear. Nice leg-warmers!

The weather has been great and the mini-pool is already getting some good use.

Sun bathing. Does anyone have a tissue?

Nice belly! He's still working on his tan.

The kids decided that it would be more fun to jump from the top of the slide and into the pool.

After his fifth jump, Mason got a confused look on his face,
held his bum, and said "Owey...hurty bum." Sliding down the slide was just fine after that.

Daily wagon trips are made to the park.

"Oh, I don't mind if I do."

This is Mason 'sleep eating.' What you can't see is that he ate like this, eyes closed, for several minutes before the picture flash woke him up. He is an extremely talented boy.

This is the new 'pose'...

again...

and again.

Do we wonder where she gets it?

Sidewalk chalk is the best...as long as it stays on the sidewalk. One afternoon, the kids decided that Grandma's house needed a little bit of color.

Easter and Everything Else...

We had a very busy Easter this year. On Friday, we left the city and went camping with some friends from the ward. They have a little girl Avery's age and a little boy Mason's age and they are also expecting a little girl on June 2nd. We had a great time but returned home extremely tired and just in time for our Saturday Easter egg hunt. There were about 3,000 kids there and it was pretty crazy. Avery and Mason had a great time. On Sunday, we went to church and then to Janae's uncle's house for a nice Easter dinner.

It didn't take Mason very long to realize that he could keep everything that he picked up.

Avery didn't pick up a single egg, she saw all of the candy in the grass and decided not to waste any time (I don't think she realized there was candy in them as well).

All dressed up. I think Avery is up to something here.

And now for everything else, a picture from Valentine's Day

Mason and his sweet hat on the way to the park. As long as Mason is outside he is a happy boy.
