We planted a small garden this spring and the kids are having a great time taking care of it. A couple of days ago two huge red strawberries magically appeared in our little strawberry patch right after Grandpa got home from the store. The kids were a little surprised but decided that they were in fact real and ready to pick. I helped pick them so I could make sure we didn't hurt the plant, and the kids were excited to show everyone what they had grown. Today we picked the first strawberry that actually grew in our strawberry patch. Avery has been trying to pick it for days now and she couldn't wait any longer. I think this is just the beginning of a long harvest. We will be checking on veggies every day after they start to appear.

I think those two are two of the cutest kiddos in the whole wide world! I just laughed at your comment about it taking Mason a couple of tries to look at the camera while pointing at the strawberry! Too funny!
